Kisiizi
Hospital, Uganda
A
Heart 4 Africa
Dear
Friends and Family,
Well, its time! I am planning my next trip to Uganda for November
7th November 24th 2010 and my heart is anxious to serve the Lord
once again. I will have the privilege of helping the women at Kisiizi
Hospital as they birth their precious babys.
I have now completed my first year in Midwifery school and I am excited
to use the knowledge and skills that I have gained. I will be finishing
out my practical numbers that I need for my license. It will include
baby exams and catching babys while serving there. I also hope
to better my skills at suturing and starting IVs.
This will be my last trip to Kisiizi Hospital. A Love 4 Africa is moving
forward in joining Arche International Africa. I will be working
on completing the vision the Lord put on my heart many years ago for
a birth center that would provide African women with a safe, well equipped,
competent facility that will be filled with respect, compassion and
the love of the Lord. This clinic will provide all women with complete
prenatal, birth and postpartum care as well as a full time Obstetrician
with 24 hour access to an operating theater. You can check out our website
at www.archeintl.org (The site
is still under construction).
I
know that most of us are struggling financially right now. That is why
it is so difficult for me to ask you to help financially with this trip.
The truth is that without your help, serving the Lord in Africa would
never be possible. I have a mission account with Calvary Life Fellowship,
Brea and you can donate on a monthly basis or just a one time donation.
Whatever is easier for you. Every gift helps, no matter how small. I
trust the Lord that if I am to continue serving Him in this way, which
I do believe he has called me too, He will provide the funds. Would
you prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you do to be a part
of this ministry? If you are unable to help financially, would you commit
to covering me and Beth McKay (who is traveling with me.) in prayer
for safe travels and that our hearts and hands would touch others with
the love of Jesus.
I want to say THANK YOU for your continued love, support
and prayers through the years. It means more to me than you know. As
they say in Uganda my thoughts are for you, hope you are well.
The Lord Jesus, who loves us all, bless you in all you do.
In His Love and In His Service,
Sherill Sedillo
